Some days it felt like I was running a tiny circus instead of a PreK–2 classroom.

I’d show up before sunrise with a fresh cup of coffee and a hopeful heart…only to spend the next hour digging through Pinterest boards, old folders, and TPT purchases trying to pull together centers, monthly worksheets, Google Slides, and coloring pages that actually fit what my kids needed.

And by the time dismissal rolled around? I was still knee-deep in tabs, tweaking activities and rewriting directions because nothing ever seemed quite right for early learners. Too hard. Too easy. Too messy. Too bland. Or worse—beautiful but not even close to the phonics or math skills we were working on that week.

Textbooks? Bless their hearts. They tried. But I needed hands-on centers that kept little learners moving. Monthly themes that made planning feel fun again. Google Slides that worked for whole-group and centers without twenty steps of prep. Coloring pages that supported real skills instead of just filling time. I needed resources that were simple, joyful, predictable…yet strong enough to support real learning.

I wanted my students to light up when they walked into a center. I wanted them to feel capable with phonics, number sense, writing, and reading routines that actually clicked. Because every child can grow. Every child can learn. Every child can feel proud of their work.
